Lola's Play Room!

When we lived in our last home it was inevitable that when you walked in the front door the first thing you noticed was that a toddler lived there. I did my best to keep her toys picked up and organized but there was just no real place for a lot of them to go. When I came to see our new place for the first time I had this fun vision for a coat closet that would please both Lola and myself! I would love for our home to be able to maintain a "grownups live here" feeling rather than a "daycare is run here" feeling when you walk in. I am happy to report I believe we have achieved that goal. :)

Yes, I again chose a bright, fun and bold color! I wanted Lola to know that this is her room, and enjoy playing in it! She absolutely loves it and it is near the living room so she pulls out all her toys to play, but at the end of the day all her toys have a place to call home! There are still a few things I want to add to this space, but that will be in the future. :)
